Thriving Professional Development
A thriving campus starts with staff and faculty who are thriving.
Within student affairs at Western, educators support the development of thriving students by offering engaging learning experiences, investing in efforts to help students reach their educational goals, connecting with peers in healthy ways, being more optimistic and purposeful in their future endeavors, and approaching student well-being from a place of strength.
With a dedication to enhancing our commitment to and developing skills as scholar-practitioners in student affairs, Western Student Experience has designed a virtual integrated professional development series based in the principles of thriving, strengths education, the CACUSS competencies and our divisional learning goals.
The Cultivating Thriving Educators program is made possible with generous support from the Parr Centre for Thriving.
Please note that after an incredible response, registration for the 2020-2021 cohort is now closed. Details about future programming will be released in April 2021.
